SAL 70400 G SSM Circuit Board

Hi

The main circuit board in my SAL70400 G SSM is blown. No longer available as a sony spare part.

Does anyone have any a suggestion about how I can get a replacement part. If I can find the part I can fix the lens.

Does the Mkii equivalent circuit board work on the mki lens?? Just a thought? Any body have a damaged lens that works electrically from which the part could be removed?

My camera is an A77ii.

Any help much appreciated.

I am in touch them. They referred me to SONY repair centre but the lens has been seen by them and they say that it cannot be repaired because the part is not available. I am trying to establish if I can find one these parts somewhere.

The lens is not very old and it is difficult to accept that I must throw it away.
