Sony HT-MT500 won't switch off

Sony HT-MT500 won't switch off at both the unit and by remote, all other buttons work fine, also won't allow me to go into settings via the TV menu to reset, tried pulling the mains out but it just keeps doing the same. Any advice? Thanks in advance

Have you updated to the latest firmware version?

If you have already updated, then it might be best to get in touch with the Sony Support team for further help here.

I recently did a software update, trouble is I cannot even get into the reset or software update menu.

Had the same issue and all that could be done was to replace first the circuit board inside the unit, and the, as it failed again, John Lewis replaced it with a new one 12 months ago...

Guess what... It starting again to fail... 

Have you had yours looked at?
