[Master Thread] - Marshmallow Update - Amber/Green Blinking LEDs

I believe this issue deserves a separate thread since it is affecting so many people around Europe. After Sony released the update i put it on a SONY stick and proceed to upgrade, the tv was reporting: 'updating' then it restarted but it did not come back - black screen and led flashing green-orange! Tried all the tricks to get it to work but no luck so far

Lots of people complain abotu this issue on a russian forum: 'Killed sony kdl43w808c, Slovakia, 11/2016. I called Sony support. Told not to turn off the TV set or disconnect it from the Internet, as update should come, correcting this problem'

I guess just 43" TV's was affected. 

I have sent one ticket to SONY Support România and i'm waiting for an answer.

Mine is 43" as well! To be more exact mine is kdl-43w808c.

I already send a ticket to sony suport ro.

I hardly can wait to hear from them! 

I'm absolutely ***** because of this stupid problem.

It's clear to me that they haven't tested this update before releasing it to the general public.

Besides ticketing Sony, its also possible to give them a call!

they can open a new case or further investigate one already opened. All this to let them know that we are many users with the same problem here

You are absolutely right!

I can't belive that Sony sold in my country only 2 tv's kdl-43w808c to me and gabize or that in the other eu countries are one or two isolated cases with this problem, but this is the human nature, a few are strugling while others are waiting for solutions without an effort.

I agree with the calling part but the thing is that this stupid problem happened friday after 6pm and the support centre operating hours are mo to fri 9am to 4pm.

Belive me i hardly can wait to call them!!!!

the question is not how many it sold, probably hundreds, but how many updated to Android 6

around Europe there are thousands that own this tv and as time goes more tvs will get the update

In Romania i know, into another forum, other two people who have this problem.
More people maybe not declare on public space, yet, this problems.

Two others were "rescued me" alert through private messages.
