Hello,
I tried using the timelapse app on my sony A6000.
I picked one of the default timelapse configurations just to test it and I believe it was to run for 4hrs.
Later through the day I came back and the camera is still taking photos.
I waited longer, but it never stops.
I cannot stop it by pressing buttons.
The menu is disabled (no LCD display).
Even if I remove the power and plug it back in, the camera just resumes taking photos.
Even if I remove the memory card and lens, and turn the camera on, it just starts taking photos every second.
I tried leaving it for hours without power, plug it in, and it again resumes taking photos.
So something is messed up with it and I cannot reset it because I cannot access the menu and the controls do not respond.
Is there a way to do a hard reset without accessing the menu?
Not sure what to do with this thing.
Any advice appreciated.
Oh... *****.. right now it magically started working.
All I did was put a battery in and turn it on (previously I was running off external power).
Maybe the power source was too low or something?
Also strange, it's been taking photos for hours but there are no images on the SD card.
Well, problem is solved.
I'm still posting this in case it helps someone else.
No need to reply to this post.
Thanks.
David
