Xperia 10 II dual issues...

First of all a BIG THANK YOU SONY for making a match for Sony Elm (my first and my favourite super high upgrade with this device). It have so much potential and if you could bring it earlier you were still the number one in every aspect! It's great also for now but look how many Chinese are pretending to do great stuff and you could do it in the first place and are fooling so many to but their crap.

Let me put some cons here that need firmware upgrade:

1. THE CAMERA. Yes indeed stock camera (like always for like.no.other). It's the most important  as it should be in first place because many will get fooled by it not to buy it (sadly I know fools that do that).

a) Focusing it's quite slow and it takes some time mostly on the zoom lens sensor to measure some things and it takes time. Usually the picture is took before the focus is made and for that the picture is in blur.

b) Textures are bad while zooming and the only setup that gives it perfect it's in the Backlight scene that cannot be selected manually (wrong option Sony for 10 II that L4 is having it) only when software is choosing it and in the rest textures are bad in superior mode.

Texture examples:

bb) With Backlight activated (very hard to shot because superior mode must be tricked):

bbb) Without Backlight only software's fast\first choice (it's as bad even worse the HDR shots in manual mode):

c) Manual mode is only for the 12mp sensor back and 8mp front (should be all 4 isn't it?!) and 1 sec shutter speed (low light windows example with zoom -flash on also- because without it exceeds 10 MB) is\are bad as like below: 

For camera conclusion make textures as the Backlight mode (in the first sample above) in every situation of light because it's simply amazing regarding the clarity and colours. Speed up sensors for focusing and fix the manual mode that is so incomplete (only 1 sensor active and so many bugs).

2. Torch light is low. I saw when using blitz the led can get much stronger light. Put that intensity for flashlight mode not only for camera blitz.

3. Phone speakers sometimes are low on calls and YouTube make a mode to give it more sound. Noise reduction from secondary mic still weak, make it stronger. 

4. Fingerprint have a delay on touch. Make it a little more responsive.

For now it's like that. If more issues appear I will write them here. Please take note of these and that I have 59.0.A.5.2 upgrade already installed.

Hi Hamed001, it seems that the admins also delete messages not caring about the issues but they give about the words. Crap people all around! Anyways Shamesung it's the worst phone to talk with having an Xperia (Xperia to Xperia it's best), the problems with mic were all check in our case and it's not a hardware not software by factory updates. Bad system maintaining mostly for the other party not 10II (third party calling apps are problematic - installing, using, in their case).

Dearest CosmicT the latest 59.0.A.10.5 did nothing in regards of camera for our devices. Absolutely nothing! Bad auto focus, bad quality low shutter speed, bad noise management for wide sensor, bad night mode, bad portrait margins and noise... We have Eu Customized 59.0.A.10.5-R25A. The issues of this thread remain unsolved! Can you find out more why?! What this upgrade is all about! Thank you!

Sadly, I never am able to find any of the juicy info about the updates online, it's always some nerdy discussion on some website, or a developer friend who would catch a system flaw and sometimes can find the root cause. Which is not the current situation.

As for now, this is all I could find, the user guide suggests a different method for diagnoses, instead of the Support app, here.

This is the worst ever situation with Sony and Xperia. Your recommendations is useless crap if these letter of me and you plus friends plus support and care are not heard. This is truly irresponsibility and shows that Sony use third party people to solve and test with such shame results! I'm sad! Make.believe but not in this way!

To be absolutely fair though, some of the issues are solved with basic troubleshooting, however if not, this means things start going downhill, because that would mean you'd need to evolve the big leads, but to have your issue heard, you'd need to go above and beyond in communicating with whoever's responsible

Sadly you are right... Shamesung could have continuously sell carrots and potatoes if they wouldn't listen to their customers even if they were and are a salad of third party copy-cat components. Cheap, efficient and listening to their customers are the keys of success and Sony knows it well at least for PlayStation! For Xperia who is testing and taking care?! 2020's Xperia's devices are looking very good but chinese or other crap korean third party interventions in software or hardware department should be eliminated in the nearest future (Vaio is a great example of failure in Europe because of this carelessness)... I still hope...

Below is another clip of how bad works latest 59.0.A.10.5 upgrade testing 10II camera. It's an example of how much it takes after entering in camera app and after pushing shutter button to take the picture and also after point and shoot. Even it shows it takes the picture focus in fact it's saved when sensor was burr and unfocused. Even I exit the camera app it takes so long to take sometimes freezing... HDR it's so grainy sometimes and have zero noise to color reduction for both cameras (front and rear). Below it's am unmodified in any sense, no audio screen, recording. It's like no other ever.....

Yeah Vaio was a failure everywhere, guess markets weren't ready for a Sony PC.

One of the best computers I worked on and with 10 years ago was Vaio. Mac was under the sea as bad quality and features at that time. Sony was such a powerful inventor and quality maker and I hope today will revive along with Playstation other products too! Xperia still low compared what Sony was able to do.
