SONY BRAVIA LCD TV KDL-32EX343 Not Connecting to the Internet

SONY BRAVIA LCD TV KDL-32EX343 Not Connecting to the Internet.

When I try to access the Internet, my SONY KDL-32EX343 LCD TV gets stuck at 'LOADING' or Loading...

I followed the instructions on 'Setting up the Internet Connection'.
Network Set-up:
HOME -> Settings -> 'Set-up' -> 'Network Set-up'.
'IP Address Setting' -> 'Auto' -> OK.

Also, checked my Internet connection/cable with the following results:
'Check Connection ->
"Cable connection: OK'
"Internet Access: failed' - if 'IP Address' is set to 'Auto'. If 'IP Address' is 'Manual', then 'Internet Access: OK'!

'Model Name: KDL-32EX343. (Has a wired LAN connection, No Wi-Fi).
Serial Number: 5700338.
Software Version: v6.014.000.001'

Router/Hub: Sagemcom-FAST5364 with G.fast Modem, model: MT992. (When I remove this, nothing changes; same result).

Am I missing something, please?

Thanks.

That's exactly what I thought!

This is what happens with detailed evaluation 🙂
(Or at least not to be fooled again).

PS; I know it sometimes says 4K+ , but that's a US version equivalent? to the 4K.

Also, on the Roku website, https://www.roku.com/en-gb/products/compare, it show that only the Roku Express 4K shows 'USB for local playback'. Please, see image attached.
Plus ample references elsewhere on the Internet.

Thanks.

Buy one on Amazon: http://lon.tv/5q72i (compensated affiliate link) - Roku's Express 4k+ is their entry level 4k player but it has the capability of replicating some of the features of their top of the line Roku Ultra with an inexpensive add-on accessory. @Jamsah

Wow, every day is a schoolday 😛 Something I didn’t know there.

So you can use a 2-in-1, just not the one you referenced on Amazon. Unless that will actually work with the Express 4K, but just doesn’t know it 😛

My favourite bedtime reading is a Sony product manual…

Yes. And talking about school, it's time to update one's favourite bedtime reading, too 🙂

Yes, even Roku recommends some 2-in-1 (I just made the name up, appropriately) 'third-party adapters that have been tested and verified with Roku devices.'

Unfortunately, Roku Express 4k is Sold out at my local supermarkets! Some folks must have been reading our exchanges and detailed evaluation and bought all the stock 🙂

I have to resort to online now 😞
