Unable to Update my Xperia X10 Mini Pro (U20i)

I have a 10 month old X10 Mini Pro, I am trying to update from 2.1 to 2.3 I think, instead after preparing/downloading the update, an error message pops up telling me to go to sonyericsson.com/support, am i doing anything wrong ?

Hi, try updating on another PC/Laptop or use SE Update Service instead. Here's the download link, http://dl-www.sonyericsson.com/cws/download/1/110/61/1323075336/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.12.5.exe.

By the way, that is not the Android 2.3 update, it is just a firmware update for Android 2.1. As stated by SE, there will not be any update beyond Android 2.1.

The update service works great for me when I'm updating Android for my Sony Xperia Arc. Works on XP. When i tried on Windows 7, PC companion works. So perhaps it's the OS problem. What os you using?
