How to download applications to Xperia X10 phone through PC.

I able to connect my phone to machine through PC companion. But when I copy apk file to memory card, I couldn't locate that fpk file in the phone.

Please let me know how to install it.

you need a file manager

go to the market and download

OI file manager

if you have android 2.3.3 you probably need to reinstall 2.3.3

How to install it

You need to

go to settings -> applications -> check unknown sources

download IO File Manager

download the backup & restore app, transfer it to your SD card, use OI file manager to find it -> tap on it -> install it

I tapped MARKET and search for IO file manager, but couldn't locate it.

However, I went into Market >> TOOLS >> TOP FREE section. There I found two applications that may help me to download application from my machine, but not sure.

1. Download All Files - (Download all files from the Web abd Gmail in hassel-free a way.)

2. App 2 SD (move app to SD)

Please let me know if any of above will work.
