Disabling the 'headphones plugged in -> application starts' feature

For some reason my headphones are not 100% connecting to my phone, I get no stops or any kind of disruptions while enjoying a video or film, except for the part that my phone starts an application.

My question: how do I disable this feature? (Present since: 2.3.4)

go to your app drawer and look for liveware manager
