Does anybody know how to reset the BIOS password, or how to deal with the forgotten password?

welcome to Club VAIO..

You will need to contact Sony Vaio support, who should be able to issue you with a unique BIOS unlock code for your Vaio, you can do this either by phone or via e-Support, use the following link to find the contact details: Sony Vaio Support
