Soundbar HT-X8500 NO Dolby Atmos

How do i obtain dolby atmos with an HT-X8500 soundbar. I have a sony bravia TV with the hdmi connected to the arc port. I have an xbox one s connected to the other hdmi port on the soundbar. Neither the netflix app on the TV or on the xbox gives me the option for dolby atmos on any film that I've tried. I realise that not all films have atmos so I have tried playing films I know which broadcast atmos like birdbox for example. My TV is a

I think the problem here is that your TV doesn't support passing through Dolby Atmos signal to the sound bar. Netflix will only show the formats supported by the device used to access the service. So for example, the HDR tag only appears on HDR TVs.
