BDP-S1100 - remote faulty?

All of a sudden this evening my blu ray player stopped reacting to the remote. The unit did not get bashed at all. Is this a common problem?

Hi there

Have you replace the batteries?  or have you placed something infront of the Bluray player?  If none of those, try turning the player off from the wall for 2 mins, and turning it on again.

Now fixed.

Had tried batteries.
View to player always clear.
Had tried switching off and on.
Tried off and on for 5 mins.
No luck.

Off and on for 30 mins did the trick tho.
