my phone switch off and on by itself
Hello,
I bought a Sony Xperia E3 yesterday, and i put the battery on. After 10 minutes, the phone switched off and on by itself. I thought that i put my finger on the power button. Then, after half an hour, the phone switched off and on again.
It's very annoying. Just in one day, the phone switched off about 10 times, i think.
After i recharged the battery, i tried to repair my sony with sony PC companion, but without succes. The repaired was succesfull, but the phone is having same symptoms..
Have you heard about this problem? Any solutions?
Thank you!

Your Sim card is it new or one you have cut down to size or is it an old Sim as this is often the cause for your issue

I have a Sim bought 2 months ago. I saw that if the phone is in stand by, the risk is much more to switch off and on. When i played or did something, he switched off just one time.

I tried now, but same problem. After the phone entered in stand by, in two minutes the phone switched off and on.
Tomorrow i will send the phone in service to find out what is the problem.
Another thing, the signal is low in the town, where usualy, the signal is full on other phone. On xperia e3, i have 2,3 lines of signal, on a scale of 4. This is normal or i have another problem?

As you have just bought it then you should return this to the place of purchase or contact Xperia care http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

My phone has been in service for 4 days and after that, i had the same problem.
The solution was to replace my phone with another one and it seems to work good now.
Thanks for the answers!
