lens jam on 3 cybershots, in out 4 times turn off on 1why?

Hi, I am an art teacher with now 4 sony cybershots with jammed or strange lense faults, the latest where the lense goes in and out 4 times and then the instruction turn off / on again appears - repeat continuous. Is there a DIY repair manual for the cybershot DSC-W35 as the number of cameras would be worth trying to have a go - the cost of having them repaired is greater than the cost of new in past experience!

Unfortunately you won't find a Sony repair guide on these forums..:smileysad:

You could try searching via google for a guide, however unless you know what you're doing you could do more damage by disassembling the cameras without the proper tools, etc.

Have you tried contacting Sony support (www.sony.co.uk/support) for assistance.?
