Sony kd-48a9 picture settings
What are the best picture settings please for this TV? So many options and a lot I don't really understand. At the moment I have chosen custom and just left everything as default but im sure someone on here has had a good play to optimise the picture even more. Thanks

It's a basic pattern and an old article but it applies to any Sony TV , think before posting .

Hi @gahanle I’m a paid up member of the leave it on Default Standard but everybody has a different view on what they like as a good picture and it differs from person to person. Personally I don’t believe in fiddling (some people even spend hundreds on getting it calibrated) as whatever picture I have my eyes get used to it and it becomes the norm. I have to say that Sony are generally consistent on their Default Standard picture, so every TV I have and bought is roughly the same. I see no difference moving between TVs in the house.

Hey,
In the end of the day it's based on how you prefer the TV.
So there won't a definitive guide for the optimal screen settings, but more like what does everything do, then you adjust them after you know exactly what you're changing.
And you can check these: https://bit.ly/3DQ9shv & https://bit.ly/3DauRR3.
Cheers,
