Hi,
I have had my KD65A1 for about 3 months and in the last 2 weeks or so it has started randomly turning itself off. Does not seem to coincide with changing channels or inputs. It can happen in quick succession or only after a couple of days. I have checked the mains connection and reset/updated the software.
Any ideas?

I'd suggest first making sure that the firmware is up to date using this link: https://bit.ly/2xAaKN5. Then, try to reset the TV from Home - Settings - Storage & reset - Factory Settings, and check if this will help resolving the issue.

Thank you very much for responding. I tried the factory reset and then (re-)updated to the latest firmware before I posted. However, pleased to say the problem hasn't occurred for a few days now. I will keep an eye on it and report back. Thanks again for the help! Jules

Glad to hear this. I would suggest also to clear the cached data on the TV from time to time (like once or twice every week) as this will help maintaining the performance of the TV. You can do that from Home - Settings - Storage & reset - Internal shared storage - Clear cache.
