Hi all - just joined, so please excuse me if this question has already been answered.
I was wondering if any member has had experience of using the Sigma adapter, to allow you to use Canon fit Sigma lenses on an E Mount body. I have just purchased an A7R111, and would love an 12-24 lens. I used one with a Canon I had, with good results, and it seems a cost effective option to buy a new Sigma converter, and a second-hand Sigma EF fit lens.
Any one have experience of this set up?
Cheers
Hi, I have an Sigma MC-11 adapter and it works really well. I have used it with several Canon high end lens including the 16-35mm f2.8 and the 70-200mm f2.8. It works very well regarding AF performance and eye AF. So better buy than Sony A mount lens with LA-EA4 which doesn't give eye AF. SOunds like a good plan.
