Camera apps traded up to A6400

Hi

I have tried to upload to my A6400 the apps I used on my A6300 and it will not allow it. I have connected the transfer to phone app so this allows me to control the camera through my I phone and this was using imaging edge.

are the apps Like "shutter release" downloaded able or have I bought the wrong camera as I see the apps are compatable with A6000 A6500

I am confussed and frustrated as Google says they are scrapped by Sony

It seems the ILCE-6400 doesn't support PlayMemories apps, instead, it's compatible with Sony's new Imaging Edge software.

Hi Win_88Thanks for that at least I know the Sony apps are dead, I have used the image app to connect camera to phone.It would be interesting to watch a camera sale and see the outcome when the buyer is told all those apps Sony used previously on your trade in camera for a better model are now not available.Enjoy your daySent from Samsung tablet.
