Hello. I have a Sony A7 II (ILCE-7M2) Ver. 4.0
I have tried connecting it to my macOS Mojave to update the latest firmware and to try tethered shooting. Both failed as the camera does not seem to connect. It just says 'check connected device'. I've tried different USB outlets, putting on Mass Storage USB mode, cords, turned it off/removed battery, everything and no luck at all.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi Virajdeo ,
As far as I am aware macOS Mojave is 10.14.5. This isn't supported by PlayMemories Home or Imaging Edge. I found this link : http://support.d-imaging.sony.co.jp/www/disoft/int/pcenv/en/contents/index.html stating the compatible OS versions and 10.14.5 isn't listed so, I'd say this is a compatibility issue.
Cheers,
