Refresh icon missing in e-mail

I have 3 e-mail accounts on my phone. In my default account the refresh icon has disappeared for my inbox.  However If I go to any other folder (sent for example) it is there.  My other e-mail accounts it still exist.  I tried going through various things to try and bring it back.  No luck.  Any help is appreciated.

Not sure what could cause this. I have it even if i set my account to push.

What you try is to remove the account (Email -> menu -> Settings -> [the account] -> Delete account) and then add it again.

Yeah, that is what I was thinking and was trying to avoid doing that.  Going to do that now.  Thanks
