Low volume of Microphone at other side person end

Hi,

facing issue related to mic. serveral time in a day i need to restart the phone as other end person said that my voice is very weak and unable to hear. This is a big dissatisfactory first time from sony. I have customer from almost 8 year and bought 6 different high end phones but first time facing this type of issue from sony . Please check and let me know. since six month facing this issue. first thought it is a network issue now change the provider as well still this issue not solved. other end person is not even listen my voice.

Now i have no option to sell the new phone with dissatisfaction and loss. Please help.

Hi @im_rocky89 and welcome to the community.

I'm sorry to hear this. I recommend that you try and enable the loudspeaker in a call or if possible, you make a call using a headset to see if you are still experiencing the same behavior. You can enable the loudspeaker if you tap Audio output when you are in a call.

I would also recommend that you test you microphone in diagnostics. To do so go to: Settings > About phone > Diagnostics > Test > Microphone. How does the microphone behave in this test?

I'd also recommend that you reboot your device to safe mode to make sure this behavior isn't caused by one of your downloaded apps as these will be temporarily disabled in this mode.
