Hi to Sony or any one that have a solution,
Currently Singapore Telecos has already started removing 2G network and our 2nd Sim Card is based on 2G network only. Is there any ways that we can force or allow our 2nd sim card card to access 3G network?
Appreciate any kind of assistance!
Have a great day ahead!

It is not a software limitation I'm afraid, so there is no update that can be released to resolve it.
I understand how frustrating it is, the same thing has been happening in Australia and people with Dual SIM phones here have the same problem.
In this situation, there's nothing we can do to make your device compatible as a dual SIM handset on a network that has no 2G, but it should function fine as a single SIM phone.
Hi @d3mon, welcome to the community.
Currently the only Xperia dual SIM device that I am aware of that is capable of using 3G in the second SIM is the Xperia XZ Dual. The Xperia XA Dual relies on the 2G network on the second SIM.
oh my... is there no other ways to upgrade the software or etc? Else the 2nd sim card slot in Singapore will be render useless and I only brought it less then 1 year ago..
Really sad...

Hi Cameron, thanks for your kind advises! Hopefully the Sony Service centre in Singapore can offer me a solution as it was recommended to me when I first sign up a couple of months back ago.
Once again thanks!
Common! Is it difficult to Sony for generating a upgrade software ? When I bought, the dual sim card and size appealed me. But now you said there is no solution for 2nd card . Too sad.
@PRINCEL88: as said on the post, the problem lies in the hardware. so no matter what update they issue, the problem wont be fixed.
