Wireless connection wont work!!!

I have had a wireless connection working in the past perfectly but now i cant make it work for some reason

I need to create an ad-hoc network between my vaio and another pc

I can 'add' a 'preferred network' ok but i cant make it 'available'. How do I do this on my vx71p first??? the other pc should be able to find the network itself then.

any help???

To be fair, he didn't post the same question twice....

He made on different from the other (unilke some other people who just blindly post doubles).

But, at the end of the day - yes it is a double post in some form or factor, so please don;t do it
