Sony won’t repair or replace my XR-83A90J
Sony refused to repair my TV which is under warranty. The TV has many dirty lines all over the screen and they said that this was not a problem and that it was normal for this TV. I wouldn't complain but this TV cost me over 5k which makes it ridiculous to pay so much money to have a TV that was damaged

That’s not normal for any TV.
Ask Sony if anyone would buy one if it looked like that in the store.
My favourite bedtime reading is a Sony product manual…

Vertical banding is a "defect" that is easy too check and doesn't appear after time, your best option would have been to return the TV immediately after receiving it. Afterword it is always a debate on which is the actual tolerance (being that most OLED TVs show some degree of vertical banding on dark grays)
Sometimes a deep clean of the panel may help with it if you didn't already try
