Hi karmin

Picture and sound settings on TVs is a personal thing and what might seem right for you might wrong for someone else.

Everyone sees colours in a slightly different way, what you need to say to your yourself is, does that look natural? Does the skin colour on that person look right to your eyes if it does leave well alone.

It's only when colours are intensley bright that it actually hurts to look at them. Red can be a good example as it can almost jump out of the picture. There are no set rules for different scenes, it all personal choice.

Sound may be a little different. I imagine most if not all TVs have poor to quite good quality speakers fitted. To improve on this you need to look at seprate speaker packages or home cinema systems.

You just need to make your own judgement.

Thanks:smileygrin:

Hi Karim_84,

welcome to Questions & Answers..:smileyhappy:

Do you want to restore the picture & sound settings back the their default settings.?

If so for sound try the following -

Go to the Home menu..

Then browse to Settings..

Followed by Sound..

In the Sound menu click on Sound again, followed by Reset this should reset most of the Sound settings back to  the factory settings..

For Picture try this -

Go to the Home menu..

Then browse to Settings..

Followed by Display.

In the Display menu click on Picture followed by Reset this should reset most of the Picture settings back to the factory settings..

If those do not work then you could try going to System Settings, General Settings and resetting you EX503 back to factory settings..

Hi karmin

Richboy7 has posted an interesting post today about the possibility of using a Spears & Munsil disc to calibrate the TV. This may be what you need to get the best out of your TV.
