I asked the question about a "notes" app a while back. The best solution I found was to download "Note Everything" (which was recommended to me - no "dodgy" permissions required) from the market, then copy my old notes over by hand.

this is how to backup everything and re-install the backup and restore app

Settings -> privacy -> Back up my data and Automatic restore should be selected

and also

Use one of these links to download the

How to install it

just to play it safe sync your contacts w/ google if you haven't already

open your phonebook

on your computer

-> download the file -> go to your gmail -> click on contacts -> click on more actions -> on the drop down menu click on "import" -> choose the file -> and click import

if you don't want to use the backup & restore app then

Install "backup SMS" to back up your SMS and MMS to your Gmail

or your SMS use

Hi Lester,

Did you not find a way to back up your notes ( I have hundreds of them!!! ) instead of having to copy them over manually?

I guess if this is the case then its going to take a while LOL

thanks slimshaddy I didn't know this about NOTE EVERYTHING but have tried it and unfortunately I can't seem a .txt file for the old SE Xperia Mini x10 notes app. but its a great feature and I am enjoying using NOTE EVERYTHING... I just wish I could copy all my old notes over (will take an age manually!) but seems i'm going to have to.

Thanks to everyone for your input Slightly_smiling_Face
