Of course the phone book has also had a social make over. Your friends latest status update, birthday, photos and interests are all gathered in the phonebook along with the call and messaging history you have with that contact. Birthdays and other Facebook events are also added in phones calendar which means that it will be very tricky to come up with a good excuse for forgetting someone’s birthday;-)

this is quite interesting since the only option to get status updates

i dint follow 2-3

i just added the widget and when i checked the settings,,,show status update was there..

ok..reboot your phone , then just add the widget and there you will se the status updtes in the widget itself..

then go to settings and it will show you the updates..

So I got Facebook to appear on the

contacts -> menu -> settings -> show status updates -> twitter, facebook etc, BUT

I still don't get any updates on the phonebook

and also, I don't mind going through menus, but this should be solved so it doesn't rely on the Widget and App to be open, there are a lot of people who hate menus.

but back to the topic, the option is now there but not the updates.

the facebook widget itself shows the updates

clear all facebook data....log in with your id..

create a widget

go to the settings and activate show updates..

then see if its working or not..

hello but why my xperia arc facebook chat are not working out??its says "none of your friends are available to chat..but i log in my friend x10 it can see ppl who i can chat..what happen??

go to settings > applications > manage applications > all

find facebook..and click on clear data..

now you will have to log in once again..and all fb related things will be deleted..

so now check if its working or not..

and one question.. you do have mutual friends right..??

i mean it can be that none of your friends are avaialble but your friend's friends are avaialble that is why its showing on the x10 and not in the arc..
