I'm looking for any tips how to use my Vaio vgn-fw21e connected via Wifi to linksys WAG160 at the full speed using 802.11n standadr and not only 802.11g. The router is located couple meeters (2-3) from Vaio, no walls etc in between and seams that Windows connection property indicates the speed at the level of 54MB/s only. I've switch off the IP6 (i've heard Vista had some problems with that) and no effect. I though there is anything in BIOS od WiFi driver to be enabled - and ... nothng.
The router is set up for n standard with dual band 2.4 and 5 GhZ and wide channel.
Any idea how to speed up that stuff and get over full 802.11n speed? I'd appreciate any help.
Sorry , but only 802.11g is supported .
Try replace wi-fi card " N " standard supporting .
