problem with miracast
Hi, got a problem with the mirroring function on my bdv-n5200w system. My laptop recognizes the system and it pops up a square saying "please wait" and then nothing happens and then it times out and i need to start over and make it visible again. Any suggestions?

Hi there
Ive always had issues with miracast connectivity via laptops - its hit and miss. Google is your friend on this one to be honest. First you need to know if your network card is miracast certified or not. See: http://www.wi-fi.org/discover-wi-fi/wi-fi-certified-miracast
Cheers

Hi again!
I can't really find any information on my qualcomm atheros ar946x wireless adapter at wi-fi alliance. But just that i can find the system under devices->project->add wireless display is pretty weird if my network card is'nt miracast certified.
Thanks again!

Hi there
The products that are Miracast certified are normally intel products. I had a search for your network card and have no results - therefore one has to conclude that it is not compatible with Miracast.
As an example of a common Intel NIC, see pic below.

Hi again!
So maybe a driver update can solve the problem? The one he mentioned? http://www.driverscape.com/download/qualcomm-atheros-ar946x-wireless-network-adapter

Just read a report of system data via dxdiag and it says miracast is supported. Hmm...Something morei can try?
