Does anyone experience motor noise from their record player? My new deck has audible noise when motor is running at both 33and 45rpm. It’s not an electrical hum and does not transmit through the speakers. It’s mechanical and audible when the amp is off or on. I’ve checked the belt which is not twisted and the deck runs smoothly. Sony recommended a repair but the book a repair function on the site is not working. I was given a link to my local repair centre, but they are not picking up. Buyer remorse setting in.
