Screen problem during a call Xperia E3

Hi,

I have a problem. My Xperia E3 turn of the screen during the calls even if i am not talking with it in my ear and do not let me cancel the call until the answer machine close the call. How can i solve it?? Please help. And thanks

Btw i plug the charger and does not worrk neither

Go to Settings > About Phone > Diagnostic > Proximity Sensor test.

See if your proximity sensor works.

Can you advise if you are using some screen protector or case on that device?

These may very well be affecting the proximity sensor of the device, if so I suggest trying to remove them and then testing it.

Then there might be a faulty proximity sensor.You may need to bring your device to a local Sony Xperia Center.But first you need to contact them.

You can use a screen protector, as long as it doesn't cover the proximity sensor.
