Cash back problems
- I am losing the will to live! I am trying to claim a Sony cash back for an RX100 Mk4 and am currently getting nowhere! I’m being told that the jpeg image of the Amazon VAT invoice is not clear enough. On my computer it’s so clear that my 100 year old granny could read it from a mile away without her glasses! I’m getting the impression that Sony are doing everything they can to stop the claim going through. I’ve phoned the support desk several times without getting any further. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions please?

With this Sony cash back promotion patience is definitely a virtue.

Back in 2018 I bought lens for my a6000 and claimed cashback and I have received an email that I will receive it in 28 days but it never came! I love Sony brand, but claiming cash back is impossible I suppose! And I don't even know where to complain and if it is worth of any try!

I have a similar problem, Sony want me to cut the serial number out of the box and send a photo. Have refused to do this as it devalues the resale value of the lens, I have sent numerous emails to Sony but they ignore them. I've forwarded the receipt, serial number and photos etc but Sony still refuse to accept my proof.
Sony offer cash back but are unrealistic with their terms, one day they will perhaps have people working for them that live in the real world, for my part I've given up and will have no further dealings with them.

Yea I've seen a number of people mentioning them on Sony's FB page and they replied back to them saying it's something related to scams and such.
Not really convenient but oh well!
