KD-55X8005C - Lip Sync Issues

I'm having massive problems with the lip sync on my KD-55X8005C. I've got a Pioneer VSX-254 hooked up with both optical cable and a HDMI using ARC and there's about 0.5 second delay. It's not the amp as it's the same when I use the TV speakers. 

I've updated the TV with the newest firmware so I can rule out that, plus it's the picture which is in front of the sound, so I can't use audio delay on the amp.

Hopefully somebody has resolved the issue and can help me out

Hi there

Unfortunately some people are experiencing lip sync issues on their 2015 Android based TV.  It is being investigated currently.  See link below for any updates on this

If you have both optical and HDMI-ARC connected at the same time, remove the optical as its not necessary.

I too am having intolerable issies with lip sync. I'm using a Pioneer external amp via HDMI, not optical. Please advice on when this will be addressed... Thanks.

This is a major problem of a TV, and Sony doesn't fix it. Amazing.
