NFC compatibility

Hi, I have had my a99ii for a while now, but I've just bought a Sony AF8 UHD 4K tv. Can the NFC faciity on the camera be used with the tv to view images that are on the camera, i.e, use the tv as a huge monitor without any wire being used?

My understanding is that NFC is for a mobile device only.  Perhaps someone in the community may be able to clarify this.

Thank you for at least replying, I was begining to wonder if there was anyone out there!

Given the technology built into the AF8, I'd be gobsmacked if it couldnt receive a signal from the a99ii. But, I guess nothing should surprise me! Lets wait and see if there is an answer.
