FE 24-105mm F4 G OSS with A7 ll compatibility

I’m thinking about buying this lens but when I have checked the compatibility info on Sony’s site, it shows the following info.....

• The [Lens Comp.: Distortion] setting will be set to "Auto".

Does anyone use this lens with the A7ll? I’d appreciate your views on it and would love to see some pics please.

I am not sure about this restriction, but I don't think it should affect your shooting experience in any way. I've found some sample photos taken by this lens on the Sony Photo Gallery.

I think this is something to do with a function in the camera which corrects lens aberations (all lense have aberations) . The 24 - 105 is an excellent 'walk around' lens. Buy the lens with equanimity and enjoy sharp images.
