Working for a month, suddenly no connection to mobile network

I have confirmed my sim card still works in another phone,
and also tried a different working sim card from yet another phone.

phone detects sim, but has no conection to mobile network.

go to Mobile Data and try to select a Network operator, but the phone can't find any.

I've repaired the software via Xperia Companion - no change.

It's as it the mobile network radio has died.

please help, I've only had this phone for a month, and it's fantastic - well up until the phone part stopped working Slightly_frowning_Face

Yes it appeared to be a hardware issue.
The retailer I purchased it off replaced it with a new unit.

The new unit works fine.

Hey, pal! I`ve got my issues exactly after a month past too. Firstly my front camera died. After that - automatic screen rotation started working incorrectly and eventually - speaker. And now the phone reboots everytime I try to call or accept an incoming call. I`ve done hard reset and it did not help. Built-in system tests give me results of not working front camera and media (microphone or speaker). So tomorrow I`m bringing it to the service center. Hope they will fix it.

Hi @BlackWhale, sorry to hear about this. Slightly_frowning_Face

It does sound like it is unfortunately related to hardware as the SIM card works fine in other devices and no networks can be found when you search for them.

I would recommend that you get in touch with the Local support team in your market and they will assist you further with having it sent it to an authorized service centre.

I understand it's not fun having to send such a new device to service, but hopefully everything will be resolved there.

@Bravegoblin, sorry to hear about your device. Slightly_frowning_Face

Feel free to keep us posted on how it went with the repair!

Hi @BlackWhale, sorry for the late reply, I have been out office due to vacation.

I'm glad to hear that it was solved by having the device replaced and hopefully everything went smooth with the replacement process and that you new device works better.

Thanks a lot for getting back to me and have a nice day! Slightly_smiling_Face
