So I bought the above home cinema system in 2000 and something. Bought a sony 55w809cbu recently which has an arc hmdi. Existing amp doesnt seem to like this nor does it allow 3d pass through. Im thinking about upgrading not fussed about ultra hd future proofing at this stage and would ideally like to retain the speaker set up, at least for the time being. Any suggestions? Budget wise, not a lot upto £200. Thanks D.

Hi there

The all-in-one systems always come with their own set of matching speakers. Whatever you get it is likely the speakers will need to be replaced. For your budget i would look at the BDV-E3100 System, on Amazon for £250. An alternative is the BDV-E2100 for £159 on Amazon.
