KD-49X8505B Turns Off Randomly

My 2014 Bravia KD-49X8505B has started to switch to standby randomly and then the light at the bottom of the screen flashes red 9 times. After I left it unplugged for 24 hours, it is now working normally. Should I be getting it checked/repaired or just leave well alone?

Flashing red LEDs are never a good sign read the link below, if you think the tV may be over heating check the vents on the TV, or disconnect from the mains and take the back off and see if dust has accumulated over the years.

If the TV does fail it may not be cost effective to get it repaired so buying a new TV may be the best option.

Thanks for the link and advice. I agree, I may be heading towards a new TV with it being 10 years old. I'll give the cleaning a go, plus I have a set top box standing behind the TV which could be adding to a heat problem??
