Hi

I wouldn't expect apps on a 9-10 year old TV to be as reliable as what you're used to today. If you want to breathe new life into your TV, you can get a Google Chromecast or an Amazon Firestick for a more "Modern" level of performance.

Win_88

Hi,

I have a KDL-40NX703 and have used the very slow widgets from time to time. Annoyingly whenever I come back to use them again they have all reset. The ones I have selected have disappeared and I am left with just the Yahoo Weather for California & two other American places... (this generally happens after I have to accept Yahoo Ts&Cs again).

The most annoying thing is that when I add something like Facebook and type in my credentials very awkwardly using the remote, the next time I go in, all this has disappeared and needs to be typed in again.

Customer support has told me 'this is the way it is'. Just wondering if anybody has challenged Sony on this as to me it is getting to be a dealbreaker - I specifically bought the tv for these internet features...

Any thoughts or experience appreciated...

knighs

Thanks for confirming that... as this was sold as an 'internet enabled' tv I am considering if this constitues a mis-sale vs the Sale of Goods Act in the UK - i.e. it is not fit for purpose.
