Soundbar connectivity issues

Hi Could anybody help me with setting up ?

I`ve got a HT-RT4 soundbar and I`ve tried to pair it with my KDL-42W650A

The issue I`m having is that I cannot get it to work in surround sound.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have already tried almost everything
