KDL-32WE613 Simple IP

Hi All,

I've just bought a KDL-32WE613 and would like to control the TV using IP from a home automation system. Can someone tell me if the TV supports the Sony Simple IP protocol? When I got to the settings menu I can't find any option to enable it.

Hi Jay,

While searching online for Sony Simple IP protocol, I noticed that all mentions of it come with "Sony Professional" attached, so I'm guessing it's a feature of Sony's professional line-up.

I also found this overview from the official Sony Professional website: https://pro-bravia.sony.net/develop/integrate/ssip/overview/

Having said that though, I don't think your TV is part of the professional line-up.

Hi Joe,

From what I have found the majority of domestic TVs including all of the Bravia televisions actually have it. I’m just trying to find out if this one has.
