SONY BRAVIA KD49XE7002 No support for bluetooth devices?

Hi bought my SONY-KD49XE7002 from richer sounds in January this year..

picked up a bluetooth keyboard today as using the remote to browse youtube etc is a frustrating experience..

i just assumed a new smart tv made in 2018 would support bluetooth.. but it would appear not!

Is there anyway around this, like a firmware update? Or what if i got a usb bluetooth dongle and plugged that into one of the bravias usb ports?

Any other way around this?

Welcome to the Sony Community.

I'm not entirely sure if this will work for your particular TV but you could try using the app Video & TV SideView and use your smartphone or tablet as your keyboard. You can find more details on this here.
