Other methods of TV Bluetooth connection

KDL-50W829B I have read other bluetooth questions in the forums from what I can glean it is clear that the TV does not have Bluetooth connectivity, so why is it in the Menu's?

However is it possible to fit a bluetooth USB dongle to the tv to connect items such as Keyboard and Mouse, the TV does not recognise any type of Bluetooth as is.

Hi there

You can only connect a bluetooth mouse to your TV (to use for web-browsing). All other bluetooth devices are not supported.

No even bluetooth headphones are supported - without a bluetooth transmitter, see HERE for details.

Bluetooth USB dongles are not supported on the TV and will not work - as the TV cannot install the required 'drivers' in order for it to work.
