I have recently purchased a sony tv, model # KDL-49WD756. I cannot get Youview to work and think it may not be available for this model, however the shop who delivered it is adamant it should. I feel like im banging my head of a brick wall, Can anyone confirm whether youview should be available on this model as i bought the tv in the advice of the sales guy.

Hi there

Only Android based Sony TVs in the UK have YouView. Unfortunately the WD75 series TV is linux based and not Android, hence the reason why you cant enable YouView.

I think you will need to go back to the retailer if you believe you was mis-sold.

That saved a lot of hassle. The local shop have been fine and have upgraded to a 50" android tv at no additional cost (even though it is more expensive).
