KDL-W40705C - Smart TV is sloooooooooooooooow

I'm happy with the quality of the picture and sound but I think my Smart TV is anything but.

Has anyone got any tips on how how this can be solved or am I lumbered with painfully slow Smart TV features. Especially the interent feature. It sometimes takes 5 seconds for a key press to register.

Please ensure you have the latest firmware installed:

Once done, please do a factory reset of your TV as this can fix many issues.

I had already checked the firmware version and it was/is the latest. I'll give the hard reset a go
