HDMI ARC not working with KDL-55NX810 and HBD-E870

I have verified that

- the HDMI cable is high speed

- HDMI 1 (ARC supported) is being used on TV

- HDMI port is ARC supported on BR player

- ARC support settings are set to 'Auto' in the BR player

Nothing still. What am I missing?

Hi there

It appears you have the right compatible hardware, so lets concentrate on settings.

On the TV:

On the Bluray player:

Ensure that you have 'TV' selected as source by repeatedly pressing the [Function] button on the remote contol
Ensure 'Control for HDMI' is set to ON in the HDMI Settings.

As you have already got ARC set to Auto on the plqyer, there really is no other settings to change. So if it still fails:
