Thanks for replying. I've tried plugging it direct to wall socket rather than extension adapter.... no luck! When TV goes off there are no red lights just green which goes out for a split second just before TV comes on again. I have no eco settings on either. I did another factory reset last night and TV stayed on for a couple of hours with no glitches.... but this morning it is back to off and on again! Frustrating! 😕

My Sony Bravia KDL-40EX403 keeps switching off then on again approx every 10 minutes. Had the TV about four years or more, firmware is up to date and I've tried the factory reset but no joy! Any suggestions?

Hi there

If you have a surge protector or a multi power adaptor, try plugging the tv directly into the wall as a test. To rule out a powet adapter failure.

Do you get any red led flashing lights at the front - if so, how many times does it flash?

I dont suppose you have any power saving features enabled, such as a presence sensor?

Cheers
