KDL-32W705B TV slow user interface

I just bought the above TV (in silver) last week, and it's a fantastic picture, sound is amazing, has all of the features I need. Unfortunately, it seems to suffer from a very slow user interface at times.

Sometimes when changing the volume, or entering text on an on-screen keyboard, you can''t hold a button down, or push buttons very quickly. You can push one button, and then everything locks up for future pushes of a button.

Instead, what you have to do is literally wait for a second between every push of a button on the remote, and then the TV responds. When entering in a Netflix username and password, this is incredibly irritating.

Has anybody else seen this behaviour, and does anybody know what could be causing it?

Hi there

What you have described doesnt sound right, so two things to do which hopefully resolves it.

Ensure that you have the latest firmware, instructions : HERE
Perform a factory reset once you have the latest firmware installed, instructions : HERE
