The alphabet keypad on Bravia remote control

Just got myself KDL32EX723 which is fantastic and absolutely keen on its widgets. I have been trying

to use both Lovefilm and Youtube, and search the content.

The difficulty I have is that the remote keypad does not respond to the alphabets. The instruction refers using the TV/text mode button but this only allows to use which connection port to use.

Could anyone tell how to activate the alphabets on the remote control so that the text can be entered

on search functions?

Are you use the remote when in the dedicated Youtube application or via the browser - I think it will only work in the application.

If you have a smartphone there is an app called Media Remote for iOS and Android which makes things easier still.

Hi @Rubycidi,

in the on screen keyboard (different in a different Apps/Menù) there isn't a key like "123/ABC"?

If you don't have an on screen keyboard you can try to use te colored key (Red, Green...) on remote to change the numeric key function.
