Has anyone tried alternative keyboard apps?

I'm looking for a keyboard app that has the numbers as an additional row above the qwerty line, or visible on the main keyboard. Mine is currently set for long tap to do numbers but that is rather slow. Has anyone tried "Thumb Keyboard" , or other similar apps with tablet sized keyboards? Auto word suggest or swipe style typing with an app is not that important to me. Keyboard layout is.

I use thumb keyboard all the time numbers are in a central location and as the name suggests all usable with just ur thumbs

Thanks. I went ahead and got the Thumbs Keyboard. It meets my needs wonderfully.

you could also try the google keyboard, in the settings you can get the numbers to show up all the time...it works perfectly on a tablet but makes the keys almost too small to use on a phone.
